Welcome to Moneta AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Moneta AI mobile application ("App") and related services provided by Moneta AI ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Moneta AI App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Moneta AI is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to identify and provide information about currency, including coins and banknotes from around the world. The App provides:

• Currency identification through camera scanning
• Detailed information about identified currencies
• Estimated values and historical context
• Collection management and tracking features
• iCloud synchronization for data backup

3. User Accounts

3.1 Apple Sign-In

To use Moneta AI, you must sign in using your Apple ID. By signing in, you authorize us to access certain information from your Apple account as permitted by Apple's authentication services.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

Moneta AI offers a free tier that includes 5 currency scans per day. Free scans reset at midnight in your local time zone.

4.2 Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions provide unlimited currency scans and additional features. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

4.3 Pricing

Subscription prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region. Prices are subject to change, but any price changes will not affect active subscription periods.

4.4 Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Moneta AI only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to transmit malware or harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
• Use the App to infringe on intellectual property rights
• Use the App for currency counterfeiting or fraud

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Moneta AI and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

6.3 User Content

You retain ownership of any images or content you submit through the App. By using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process your content for the purpose of providing our services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

7.1 "As Is" Service

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7.2 Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate currency identification and information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided by the App. Currency values and estimates are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for financial decisions.

7.3 Availability

We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or that it will be free from errors or interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MONETA AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the App's content
• Unauthorized access to your account or personal information
• Any third-party conduct or content on the App

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Moneta AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, providing notice through the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Moneta AI regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
